The prevailing scope of our company is the manufacturing of earth-moving machinery and equipment, equipment for power-generating plants, environment protection equipment, lifting and transportation equipment, assemblies and spare-parts thereof.
For the technological equipment it is possible to provide the design, erection works for the “turn-key” jobs, service during the warranty period and post-warranty service.
Our company supplies the engineering for the products we manufacture and has also runs research and development activities in engineering and technology.
Moments of the evolution:
1971 - The Factory for the manufacturing of equipments for Construction and Refractory Materials Industry was born (Intreprinderea de utilaj pentru industria materialelor de constructii si refractare -IUIMCR).
1977 - The Factory for Industrial Equipment was organized as part of a combined group of enterprises working in the Machine-Building Industry (Combinatului industriei constructiilor de masini - CICM) Bistrita born in 1977.
1981 - The Factory for Industrial Equipment as a separate company (Intreprinderea de utilaj tehnologic - IUT) – after CICM has been dissolved.
1991 - COMELF – joint-stock (trade) company organized under Law no. 31 / 1990.
1995 - Certification of Quality Management system according to ISO 9001.
- Listing on the Bucharest Stock Exchange since the first day this Stock Exchange has existed.
1999 - The company ownership has been transferred from the state to Private Romanian Owners.
The main shareholder is SC UZINSIDER SA – Bucharest.
COMELF is part of UZINSIDER Group.
2007 - Certification of Integrated Quality – Environment Management System.
